Every night they have a buffet with a different theme. We were there for a surf and turf barbecue and were most impressed. In addition to the steaks, shrimp and lobsters there were dozens of dishes, both Western and Thai on a huge buffet. The total food cost was $10 a person, which was reasonable for the food available. It does get busy so make a reservation and try for a table away from the heat of the barbecue area. The Holiday Inn also has an upmarket restaurant (flip-flops forbidden), Sam’s Steak House, which is air conditioned and without views but with excellent US and Australian steaks. Nothing too Thai about that or at the nearby Pizzeria where they bake their pizza in wood-fired ovens.
